Providing clothing options for the students of Stark County

Every day in Stark county kids wake up and don’t know what they are going to wear to school.  Not because they can’t choose between a dress or capris, my new black jeans or favorite pair of Levi’s.  No.  There is literally nothing.  There choice may be the dirty shirt they wore yesterday, the one they try to tuck in real tight so no one sees the holes in the bottom, or her older sisters pants that are 2 sizes to big.  Not even a belt really helps that.  Some of these kids take a different option, just stay home.  What? You think I’m crazy?  It’s a lot easier to stay home than deal with be called … again Easier than not having someone to sit with at lunch, or play with on the playground. 

That’s why we do what we do.   We started Clothes 4 Kidz because we think of all the things that can be stumbling blocks to education having clean*, school appropriate, well fitting clothing shouldn’t be one of them.
